The incredible crossing of the Atlantic aboard a 46-foot Leopard catamaran equipped with two eight-cylinder V-engines with 370 hp each, with a direct shaft propulsion system and Yanmar's own reverse gear (https://www.yanmar.com/br/). NAUTICA technical consultant and captain, Guilherme Kodja, with his crew, Murillo Novaes (First Mate), Lúcio Moreira Lima Junior (Chief Engineer) and Fábio Borges Pereira (Documentary Producer), sailed more than 4,450 nautical miles from South Africa to Brazil. It took ten months of planning, from logistics to provisioning food and fuel, to accomplish the feat - crossing the Atlantic from Cape Town, in South Africa, passing through Luderitz, in Namibia, Saint Helena Island, which is almost in the middle of the South Atlantic, the Martim Vaz archipelago and Trindade, the easternmost point of Brazil, to the Brazilian coast, in Itajaí.
