Switching to O Scale Kadee Couplers

For the small O gauge switching layout I plan to build later this year, I want the best operation possible, and so am converting my 3-rail scale equipment from the standard Lionel couplers to Kadee couplers. The Kadee couplers are much closer to scale size and couple easier at slow speeds. I don’t recommend converting large fleets of rolling stock to Kadee couplers on a large layout since it is time consuming to do, but for smaller layouts with fewer pieces of equipment it can be worthwhile if you enjoy slow speed switching operations.
