Yamaha WaveRunner Engine Oil & Filter Change Tutorial For 1.8L FX GP FZ SVHO & SHO WaveRunners

In this maintenance tutorial I demonstrate the factory-directed periodic maintenance procedure on changing the engine oil and oil filter. This procedure should be completed after the first 10 hours, and then every 50 hours (oil) and 100 hours (filter) or 12 months, whichever comes first. High-rpm aggressive riding will necessitate a more frequent service interval. I recommend changing both the oil and filter every 25 hours for machines that are run hard or tuned over the factory Rev limiter of 7600 rpm. Please refer to your Yamaha service and owners manuals when selecting the proper type and viscosity of oil for your specific machine and climate.
