Denza D9 FWD Detailed Review & Test Drive | All You Need To Know -Features, Promos & What's Missing

The Denza D9 is the 3rd Premium EV MPV to launch after the Maxus MIFA 9 and the Zeekr 009 here in Malaysia. The XPENG X9 was the latest to launch a few weeks back. The Denza D9 comes in 2 variants, both 7-seaters. The Advanced FWD and the Premium AWD. The former does the century sprint in 9.5s while the latter does it in 6.9s. In terms of range, the FWD variant claims to be able to achieve 520km (WLTP) while the AWD can reach a respectable 480km (WLTP). The entry level model is pretty well spec-ed out. With a price of MYR259,000, it's even cheaper than the MIFA 9 and has way more range. This could be the best EV MPV below RM300k with the XPENG X9 entry level and mid-range model close behind. The advantage of the XPENG X9 is its insane rear-wheel steering feature which allows it to achieve a class leading turning radius of a mere 5.4m. That comes in real handy for a car this size in tight situations. NVH and comfort levels are excellent. It has lots of physical buttons which is much welcome. It does not have a ceiling mounted screen like the X9 or 009 but it does have a fridge/heater unlike the MIFA 9. It also comes with an V2L. The MIFA 9 has an internal V2L (3-pin) Though it seems to lean toward a business crowd, it can easily accommodate a family of 7 with enough space.
