Attachment is the same. It did not work because I only cut off the leaves. Resentment is the leaf. Expectation is the stem. The root is the thought, "Without this, I am not okay." It is not about pulling out the roots. It is about looking at them. They were strong when they were hidden. They become weak when they are exposed. The moment you see, "Ah, this was it," the root loses its strength. If you try to let go, you cannot let go. If you look, you let go. Only those who know this find peace.
