Boys by Ella Hickson
This is from the play Boys by Ella Hickson, in which I am playing Sophie. This monologue explores themes of grief, lust, morality and relationships. It can be a very powerful piece but I think it can also be too easy to fall into performing it all mopey and sad due to the grief aspects. So I would recommend trying to find something new within it and challenge yourself by exploring new levels. This play is a must read for young people interested in theatre. It's slightly overdone but can be so impactful when done correctly! I really hope you enjoy it and feel free to follow my instagram for more updates on monologues or if you have any questions @nansi_love . Thank you for watching!
