Meet Hector - How HyProCure Surgery Corrected Hyperpronation

Hector's left foot was different from his right. Hector's parents knew something was strange with Hector's left foot but followed their pediatrician's advice to let some time go by first and see if his foot would straighten up on its own. As Hector got older and began playing sports, they could see it wasn't correcting itself and that they needed to seek out a solution. In this video Hector's mom shares how that solution was a minimally invasive surgery called HyProCure. HyProCure is a minimally invasive procedure that involves inserting a small, titanium stent to help align the bones of the heel and ankle. Misalignment of these bones is what causes hyperpronation (flat feet) and gait abnormalities that lead to foot pain and fatigue. Hector's misaligned foot and now he is able to pick out what shoes he likes without inserts and play sports with his brother and friends.
