Monsoon is a very good time to visit north east India. Specially In Meghalaya which have the highest average rainfall in the whole world. In rainy season the moisture and the dark shades creates home to different plant and animal species. Separated in three different areas which are garo hills, khashi hills and jayantia hills. Those are relatively very beautiful. In Mawsynram,Cherrapunji is the place where you can see the most diversity because of it's highly denced rainfall. Also the table like mountains are very good reason for high and beautiful waterfall. Waterfals like Borhills, Nokalikai, Khang sauri waterfall these are some famous but there are hundreds of falls.
