We had to erect a last minute tent over the stage to protect the performers from the sun. More than 10 groups performed that day for charity and we raised a decent amount in spite of being up against the Nader Doo Wop Show at the arena on the same day. Larry Chance is truly one of the great voices of our era along with Johnny Maestro and Jimmy Beaumont, Joey Van and others that through their influence in vocal styles helped me shape the vocalist I am today.
