Saltburn to Skinningrove | Coastal Walk

Hi folks, in this video I walked from Saltburn to Skinningrove, a stunning beach on the King Charles Coast Path. If you would like to sponsor me for my upcoming 17 mile walk from Saltburn to Sandsend to raise funds for Darlington Mind then please follow the link below and thank you: https://www.justgiving.com/page/dc-st... Note- In this video I use the word haar to describe a cold sea fog but it is also known as a sea fret, or a sea roke. This is a particular phenomenon to the east coast of Scotland and north east England. It is caused by warm summer air moving over the cold water of the North Sea, causing the moisture in the air to condense into a thick fog. The word haar is thought to originate from Middle Dutch or Old Norse, while most people in England would probably call it a sea fret, I use haar in this video because it sounds more magical!
