IRAN: Iran is racing toward the development of an atomic bomb, and Israeli intelligence assesses that thousands of centrifuges were transferred to a secret underground facility known as Pickaxe Mountain. The facility is believed to sit deep beneath solid rock near one of Iran’s main nuclear centers, raising urgent concerns that Tehran is trying to rebuild its nuclear program underground after previous strikes. U.S. STRIKES: United States Central Command announced a new round of strikes in Iran, marking the tenth consecutive night of American attacks. The campaign is expanding beyond southern Iran, with reports of explosions near Bandar Abbas, Bushehr, Shiraz, Isfahan, Chabahar, Konarak, and other areas. CENTCOM says the strikes are aimed at damaging Iranian military capabilities used to attack commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. REGIME CHANGE: The Trump administration is reportedly examining the return of “Plan A” — a plan aimed at bringing down the ayatollahs’ regime and eliminating the power of the Revolutionary Guards. Senior American and Israeli officials say President Trump now faces two choices: a short ceasefire to reopen Hormuz, or a broader military campaign with Israel designed to force Tehran to surrender. NUCLEAR THREAT: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is pressuring President Trump to renew full-scale strikes in order to stop Iran from rebuilding its nuclear program. Iran already holds uranium enriched to 60 percent, and the reported movement of thousands of centrifuges into Pickaxe Mountain raises the question: can air power alone stop Iran’s nuclear race, or is the Middle East heading toward a much larger war? LEBANON: In Lebanon, the IDF is preparing to demolish Hezbollah tunnels along the Beaufort and Ali Taher ridges. Combat engineers have completed their inspection, and the expected blast could create a tremor estimated between 3.4 and 3.7 on the Richter scale. Dozens of Hezbollah terrorists are believed to be trapped underground as their food supplies run low. HEZBOLLAH: The United States is making clear that as long as Hezbollah remains armed, there will be no peace. Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun as Lebanon prepares a plan to expand Lebanese army control in the south. But Hezbollah refuses to disarm, and Israel says it will not withdraw while the terrorist organization remains armed. REGIONAL WAR: Iranian attacks in Kuwait, rising oil prices, tanker fire near Oman, and the possibility of wider strikes against Revolutionary Guard supply routes are pushing the Middle East closer to a new phase of war.
