A scientific study recently came to light that reached conclusions that have been quite distressing to all families who live with cats. It stated that all cats exhibit psychopathic traits—in other words, that cats are psychopaths. And, of course, the press and media quickly picked up on the news, issuing rather alarming (and rather frivolous) headlines that went viral and made cats look very bad (to no one's surprise). In today's video, I'm going to break down the different points of the study to dismantle it, because as I've already told you, cats ARE NOT psychopaths. I think it's a scientific study that has reached very unfortunate conclusions because it's based on, let's say, questionable premises, which is what we're going to talk about here. As I said, I completely disagree with the study, with the anthropocentric approach, as always, where cats must fit into the human thought pattern, and in this case also into human psychology. I won't spoil too much, but I'll tell you in advance that I've found five glaring errors that I think are fundamental to understanding my point of view. And, although I hope it doesn't set a precedent, for once, I disagree with the conclusions drawn by science.
