The Journey of Skeeter: a Wild Mustang Horse (Part 1)

I reached WAY back in some old videos for this one! Years ago now, I got the amazing idea to FINALLY get myself a Hidalgo. I wanted an American Wild West Mustang horse. I had wanted one since I was a little girl watching westerns and wishing I was an Indian Brave. So much is wrong with that now, but hey! it was the 90's and Dr. Quinn was everything! Enter a little 5 year old black Mustang Horse. Wild as wild gets, and honestly this little guy gave me a real Mustang bug. I LOVE IT! The Journey of Skeeter videos will have an obvious focus on Skeeter, but you should gather some fun training tips along the way. Since getting Skeeter, I have now tamed many Mustangs in the hope of helping them find loving homes. (More on that is coming!) This particular video is Part 1 of a 2 part Journey of Skeeter (naming story included!) From wild in Nevada - to when I pick him up from the Bureau of Land Management - to Spoiled Pet Pony. Now, Skeeter has found his perfect fit new home and part 2 will start filming tomorrow as we refresh him on some basics, teach his new owner some fun horse skills, and take him to his new home in a few weeks.
