The production focuses on the cover-up complaint against the Bishop of Huesca and Jaca, currently under investigation by the Mexican Attorney General's Office, as well as the struggle of victims in Navarre, who have been recognized but have not received reparations. The documentary 'Crossing the Night' captures the experiences of those who have spent years denouncing the so-called structure of silence, as well as those who have recently embarked on this quest for justice. The documentary examines various cases both within and outside of Spain, such as the complaint filed against the Bishop of Huesca and Jaca, Pedro Aguado, for an alleged cover-up. With a rigorous yet human approach, the documentary dissects how the institution has historically prioritized its reputation over the safety of minors.
