NATHANIEL'S UNIMAGINABLE FAREWELL: MV BARIMA SURVIVOR TO LAY WIFE AND THREE CHILDREN TO REST

On Saturday last, Nathaniel Matabheek, 28, set out on the MV Barima with his wife, Rachel Wells, for Smith Creek in the North West District. She had come out for a church convention, and that’s where she met Nathaniel. He fell in love with her, and they had three children together. Rachel had never returned home since she met Nathaniel and she was anxious to go see her parents and siblings after that long time away. But she never made it. Nathaniel survived along with his brother Adam and sister-in-law Carlita, but they now face the unimaginable task of laying Rachel, eight-year-old Nathaniel Jr., five-year-old Natalia and three-year-old Ezekiel to rest on Friday.
