My visit to the Ruins of Oda Nobunaga's Azuchi Castle. #top100castles

First off, let me thank the caretakers, construction crews and supporters that have worked on the Azuchi Castle ruins site. The amount of work that has gone on over the years is nothing short of amazing. The construction of Azuchi Castle started in 1576 and by 1579, Oda Nobunaga was calling the castle his residence. Unfortunately, he was killed in 1582 and the castle tower and honmaru was burned down a little after that. What a sad waste as it must have been an amazing castle. This video was taken during my visit to the Azuchi Castle Ruins site.
