VW Beetle Convertible 2003 - 2010 Rear Side Window Regulator Control

Video explaining how to lessen the tension on the cable in the rear window regulators of VW beetle convertible‘s. These regulators are notoriously tight and have plastic clips and connectors that fail. Once you have the windows fixed – or they’re still working and haven’t broken yet🤞 When the windows are completely up they have the most tension on the cable. By tapping on the window switch down (after you raise the window completely) you can hear a click by the windows that’s the cable loosening up. By leaving it in this position there will be less stress on the unit hopefully avoiding premature failure.
