The Largo Doutor Carlos José Botelho Paiva, in Lomba do Loução, was dressed in festive attire to host the traditional marches, and the Faial da Terra March left no one indifferent. Being the third to perform for the public on the vibrant São João night, the march brought the theme "Alvorada de São João" to the square, in a display that combined color, rhythm, and a unique identity. A Unique Identity: Live Music and Voices in the Square If there is one characteristic that distinguishes and elevates the performance of the Faial da Terra March from the others, it is the fact that it is proudly accompanied by the Sagrado Coração de Jesus Philharmonic Band. But the magic wasn't just in the instruments: in a moment of great complicity and dynamism, the dancers themselves sang the lyrics of the march as they moved across the field. This happy combination between the sound of the philharmonic and the voices of the group creates a unique atmosphere—it is, without a doubt, "something else" that thrills those who watch. The Brilliance of Blue, Gold, and Black on the Red Carpet The group's visual presentation was another highlight of the evening. Parading on the red carpet purposefully laid out for this purpose, the marchers captured everyone's attention with a sophisticated wardrobe: • Girls: They dazzled in colors where blue and gold reigned supreme. • Men: They were elegant in a combination of black and gold.
