Honduras registra 0 muertes por accidentes de tránsito en las últimas 24 horas
The National Directorate of Roads and Transportation (DNVT) reported an unusual weekend in terms of road safety, with zero traffic fatalities recorded in the last 24 hours. Authorities attribute this result to the increased police presence at strategic points throughout the country and the constant calls for cautious driving. However, at least 49 traffic accidents were recorded during the same period, resulting in injuries and property damage. As part of the enforcement efforts, more than 500 driver's licenses were confiscated for various traffic violations, in addition to 16 positive breathalyzer tests detected in operations carried out nationwide. The DNVT reiterated its call to the public to avoid driving under the influence of alcohol, respect speed limits, wear seat belts, and avoid distractions such as cell phone use. So far in 2026, authorities have recorded 903 traffic fatalities, nearly half of which were motorcyclists. #DNVT #Honduras #TrafficAccidents Find more programs on #TVCPLAY by visiting https://www.televicentro.com/tvcplay Copyright © 2026 Televicentro
