Human Systems Integration Introduction

This lecture provides an overview of Human Systems Integration (HSI), its implementation cost and return on investment, HSI domains, how HSI fits into the NASA organization structure, HSI roles and comparison of HSI to Human Factors Engineering (HFE). This is integrated with an overview of HSI and Systems Engineering, the SE Lifecycle, HSI Mandates, and keys to a successful HSI program. The course concludes with discussions on implementing HSI in the NASA environment through development of an HSI implementation plan.
