Jack always gets excited when an NBD (New Brand Day) rolls around, but when that brand happens to make some of the best, all-purpose, hugely versatile, high-gain monster amplifiers we've ever heard, it gets even better! Jack decided to keep things as simple as possible, employing a beautifully honest Knaggs Kenai J, with single P-90 pickup, to shine the spotlight entirely on each amp's capabilities. As you'll tell, even one pickup is enough to cover more tones than you could ever imagine! We also decided to stomp on a Maxon OD-808 as a boost in a couple of places, to show how these valve-driven tone machines swallow up your pedalboard. A Line 6 HX Effects does its usual job of providing atmospheric delay and reverb in the valve-buffered effects loops.
