How to Remove Snow from Solar Panels (and Should You?)

We get a lot of questions in the winter about snow on solar panels. Often people ask if it pays to manually remove snow from the panels. Although in most instances, we discourage doing this because the snow slides off on it's own, we understand there are exceptions. Especially during our Midwest winters, we can occasionally get a combination of snow, ice & low temperatures that cause snow stick to the panels longer than normal.
