Dr. Farooq Aadil: India's secularism is on its last breath

Mr. Farooq Aadil is an Islamabad-based journalist and author. He earned his master’s and doctoral degrees in journalism from Karachi University. He started his journalistic career as Weekly Takbeer’s correspondent in Sargodha. He writes for the BBC Urdu Service and Express, an Urdu newspaper. He has served as adviser and press secretary to Mr. Mamnoon Hussain, former president of Pakistan. He was born on September 15, 1962, in Liaqatpur, district Rahimyar Khan. On August 14, 2023, President Arif Alvi conferred Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Medal of Excellence) on him.
