Making a Late 1930's Dress // Oof satin 😬

Why didn't I make a simple little something instead? This is the opposite of stretching before doing your gymnastics 😵 I reenter the sewing fray with a late 1930s design that's a tiny bit outside my comfort zone with all these pointy bits to arrange just right. Turns out I may need some fit fixes too, but allow me to say the fit over the bust and the seaming in general is pretty dang glorious overall. Should I transform this idea into a late 40's design and color block it instead for another round? Minus the floopy rayon satin of course...
