The final scenes described in Revelation 13 find an almost identical parallel in the stories of Daniel and his friends in Babylon. The conflict they faced, and their faithfulness to God above all else, served as inspiration for John to describe the final battle between good and evil. Satan will do everything possible to disconnect us from God. He and his allies will make a great effort to get the entire world to worship him, instead of God. Therefore, God's final call to the world is: "Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water!" We must worship the Creator. And we must worship him on the day he established—the Sabbath.
