Cycling through Albania really sometimes felt like traveling back in time. Subsistence farming, horses and donkeys pulling carts, and simple, friendly people really made Albania feel very different to the more Central European countries we’d been to before. Albania seems to us like a land of opposites. From “rags-to-riches”, everything can be found in rural and modern Albania.
