The Sakkakappanakhiri Performance Concept and Inspiration Based on a study of the Champasak version of the Tales of the Elements, Intharathiraja descended to pay homage to the Buddha's breastbone. The story describes Intharathiraja, along with his devas and celestial beings, descending to pay homage to the breastbone. A miraculous miracle occurred when Indra and the devas unanimously chanted "Sadhu" resounding throughout the heavens. The sound of Turiyananti sang, and the devas and celestial beings danced in reverence, holding the tails of golden peacocks. Based on the aforementioned information, the creative team analyzed and synthesized the concept and invented a performance that depicts the devas and celestial beings holding the tails of golden peacocks and dancing in reverence to the breastbone.
