Lima, Peru, is home to the 4th best restaurant in the entire world–– Central by world-renowned Peruvian chef, Virgilio Martinez. This Lima restaurant was featured in Season 3, Episode 6 of Netflix’s Chef’s Table, and thousands of people travel across the globe to dine at this very special restaurant. Virgilio's set menus feature a number of unique dishes that take you through the country of Peru, based off of altitude. Out of pure luck and good timing, we got ourselves a table at Central with no reservation, and we got to experience a transcendent and life-changing meal on our final day in Lima. We feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to splurge (for once) on an experience we will surely remember forever, and we are so glad that we could share those fantastic 4 hours with you all.
