Understand how your eyeglass size is measured: https://bit.ly/3noW5PK And learn the difference between myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism: https://bit.ly/3z1fusc Do you know how eyeglasses are made? In this virtual tour, you'll learn more about the production of this accessory, which is extremely necessary when you have difficulty seeing due to an eye problem such as myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. #Let'sSee! To show exactly how eyeglasses are made, we virtually went to an optician's to discover each step of this process in depth. The first point in creating eyeglasses is that they need to be ergonomic. For this, there are three important parts: the bridge, which is the fitting on the nose; the temples, which are also known as the arms of the glasses and serve to fit the piece behind the ears; and the pantoscopic angle, which is the inclination of the lens. During our virtual visit, we followed the manufacturing process of a frame made with polyamide injection molding. To achieve this, the factory produces a type of mold in blocks of steel or aluminum. During the lifespan of these blocks, they can produce approximately 50,000 frames. These molds are placed in injection molding machines that pour molten plastic into them. The polyamide used is Grilamid, and it arrives at the factory in the form of small balls that are subsequently melted inside the injection molding machine. Before injection, small metal parts, such as those that hold the temples, are placed in the mold. This is done because when the plastics cool, they are already attached to the frame. After this is done, the parts go through a finishing process. Some are done with the parts separated, and others with the frames assembled. First, sanding is done, then tumbling, and finally ultrasonic cleaning, which takes place in a bath with water that cleans the frame by vibrating at a very high frequency. The next step is painting, which can be done manually or even by robots. After the glasses have rested for a while, the demolding lenses, which are false lenses without a prescription, are fitted. Opticians use this type of lens to make markings and measurements – mainly of the pupils. But, in addition to the frames, another fundamental piece is needed for people to see correctly: the lenses! So, are you curious to find out how this process is done? Watch the full video and learn all about it. Don't forget to share the video with that friend of yours who can't live without their glasses. ► Understand HOW A MAGNIFYING GLASS WORKS:    • Entenda COMO FUNCIONA UMA LENTE DE AUMENTO   ► HOW TO MAKE A MAGNIFYING GLASS at home:    • COMO FAZER UMA LENTE DE AUMENTO em casa   ► Subscribe: https://youtube.com/user/iberethenori...
