How to Build Guitar Cabinets pt.1

Part 1 of a multi-part series featuring our DIY guitar speaker cabinet build. In this episode, we introduce the project and cover the concept, design and CAD modeling of a totally custom, 1 of a kind guitar stack. This series will present the general steps in designing and scratch building a 2x12 open/closed back cabinet and a 2x12-1x15 cabinet - from concept, all the way to testing. 3D modeling, CNC cutting, woodworking, tolexing, detailing, wiring, testing and a final shoot-out with a pair of Marshall JCM800 Lead 1960 cabinets. It's all here, in one action-packed series with bite-sized episodes! While we heavily feature the use of our Shapeoko XXL CNC machine in our build, it's not 100% necessary. All the parts in this build are very easy to fabricate by hand, by anyone with a moderate amount of woodworking skill.
