Pokemon Silver Catch Em All Glitchless 199 Speedrun 23:28:43 (1 of 2)

A "Speedrun" of Pokemon Silver catching all the Pokemon available on a single cartridge without trades (199 Pokemon), and without using any glitches. This video covers from the start up to obtaining the 16th badge. The rest is in Part 2. The route was developed by me. The run went probably slightly below what I'd call average. Generally the luck evened out over time with the exception of massive bad luck capturing Raikou, which probably resulted in a combined 2 hours or so of time loss between the time sink trying to get him and the knock on effect of having spent so many additional resources than expected capturing him. Oh well, I'll probably never bother to sit down and do this whole thing again! The splits I was running against were not a real run, but my final testing run where I approximated real time but in reality performed over the course of a couple weeks. I estimate that this testing run overall has slightly better than average luck in it, but was quite lacking in execution (not that the actual run improves on it).
