ALI Pinball machine from Stern 1980 in Gameplay Muhammad Ali

Greetings from germany. Muhammad Ali - actual name: Cassius Clay was basically at the end of his career at the beginning of 1980 when this pinball machine came onto the market. In the fall of 1980, Ali attempted to become world champion for the fourth time, this time against his former sparring partner Larry Holmes. The promoter was Don King. Ali had no chance, couldn't score a single effective hit and was only saved from being knocked down by his opponent's obvious reluctance. Nevertheless, he was of course a superstar back then and EVERYONE knew him. Me too, as a boy, of course. He was simply known. And so it was a big hit back then when a pinball machine with this title came onto the market. But somehow the topic no longer really caught fire here in Germany. And probably not in the States either! It is now 2026 and the “ALI” pinball machines are basically no longer available on the market. Extremely expensive, too, if you get hold of a reasonably well-preserved copy. So I can only say: thumbs up that I even had the chance to buy this model. But: it was a deep dig into the wallet. Hell!
