Amen Corner - Hello Susie (1969)

Amen Corner was a Welsh rock band from Cardiff (1966-1969) that started with blues/jazz but moved toward commercial pop. They had major hits including the #1 "(If Paradise Is) Half as Nice" and "Hello Susie" on Immediate Records after leaving Deram. The band disbanded in 1969, with members forming Fair Weather (hit: "Natural Sinner") and pursuing solo careers. Andy Fairweather Low became a successful solo artist and session musician with Eric Clapton and others, while other members joined bands like The Strawbs and Bee Gees.
