My existence can be full of life or dead. My existence depends on my capacity to learn. My existence is shaped by my choices. Jesus wants to forgive you so you can live abundantly. Jesus wants to be your GPS so you can live abundantly. Jesus wants to calm your anxiety so you can have peace. Proverbs 9:1 Wisdom has built her house; she has hewn out its seven pillars. 2 She has slaughtered her cattle, mixed her wine, and set her table. 3 She sends out her maids; she calls from the highest point of the city: 4 “Who is the simple? Let them come in here!” She says to those who lack understanding: 5 “Come, eat my bread and drink the wine I have mixed! 6 Forsake simple ways and you will live; advance in the way of understanding! 7 “He who corrects a mocker earns contempt, and he who rebukes a wicked person incurs insult. 8 Do not rebuke a mocker, lest he hate you; but rebuke a wise person, and he will love you. 9 Teach a wise person, and they will be even wiser; teach a righteous person, and they will increase in learning. 10 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. 11 For through me your days will be many, and the years of your life will be increased. 12 If you are wise, you are wise for yourself; if you are a mocker, you alone will bear the consequences.” 13 Folly is a noisy, simple woman who knows nothing. 14 She sits at the entrance of her house, on a seat on the heights of the city, 15 to call out to passersby who are going straight on their way: 16 “Who is simple? Let him come in here!” She says to the one who lacks understanding: 17 “Stolen water is sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.” 18 And he does not know that there are the dead, that those she has invited are in the valleys of Sheol.
