When Your Dirt Bike Ride Does NOT Go as Planned

On August 11th, we went dirt bike camping and I tried to make it up the Hidden Lakes trail. I did not make it to the top and went back with Kyle and Jack to get redemption. We were a half mile away from the split to the Hidden Lakes trail when Jack had an unfortunate head on collision with another dirt biker when cresting a blind hill. Sometimes, sh*t happens in this sport. Jack hurt his wrist, so we called off the rest of the ride and met back at the truck. This trail is open until October 14th, so we will go back for redemption (again) before the season is over...
