Verbonden als gasten van God

Anniversary video - English subtitles available - In 2021, we, the Poor Clares, have been in Megen for 300 years and our community has existed for 550 years! This is something we will celebrate in thankfulness, and something we will reflect on, among ourselves and together with others. We do this, for example, with seven videos of about four minutes in length about central themes of our life. The main theme is 'Connected', and an aspect of this is made visible and audible in each video. This is the third video in the series. We want to remain true to the Franciscan charism and see our hospitality as being guests together in the house of God. As sisters, we are essentially no less guests than our guests. It is God himself who invites us into His family, in His home, and at His table." The videos are made by videographer Niek van der Luur and project manager Juliette Allen-de Valk from Nijmegen.
