Visiting in the early morning or autumn is recommended. Pros: You can view the lotus garden, and the deck section was impressive with good wind. Cons: Since it is a shared road for bicycles and bikes, there are sections in direct sunlight. Once the deck section ends, there are many flying insects, and it is a somewhat monotonous walking course. Sallang Bridge - Pontoon Bridge (Supuro Bridge) - Hwacheon Bridge - Return to Starting Point Date: July 16, 2026 Starting Point: Sallang Bridge Parking Lot (312-8, Daei-ri, Hwacheon-gun, Gangwon-do) Distance: Approx. 8 km / 2 hours 5 minutes Note: The Pontoon Bridge may be closed during the rainy season, so please be sure to inquire with the Hwacheon County Office before visiting. While the Pontoon Bridge and the forest path were nice, there are many sections without shade on the return journey after crossing Hwacheon Bridge, so it is best to avoid midday.
