Should You Get Pet Rats?

In this video I go over the pros and cons of owning pet rats. I love them, but they're not for everyone. The good is that they're incredibly social and intelligent mammals that can easily fit in your pocket. The bad is that, like most pets, they will gnaw and pee on things and vet bills are not cheap. The worst thing about them is their short lives. In fact, in the few days between finishing this video, Ozette, who features prominently in this video, passed away from a chest tumor at the age of two years old. It's rough, but they really do bring so much joy to my life that I'm still uploading the video as is.
