"Salí con lo puesto": Vecinos de Tres Cantos relatan la huida desesperada del incendio

A devastating brush fire that broke out Monday afternoon in Tres Cantos has forced the evacuation of up to 180 people from three residential areas: Soto de Viñuelas and Fuente del Fresno in Tres Cantos, and Ciudad del Campo in San Sebastián de los Reyes. The fire, fueled by strong winds, spread rapidly from pastureland to inhabited areas, affecting homes, businesses, and other facilities. The day after, residents described with anguish the speed with which the flames reached their homes and the uncertainty about what they will find upon their return. A resident of Soto de Viñuelas told Telemadrid about her experience: "I went for a walk, and when I arrived, I left the gate open, and the Civil Guard came and told me to leave, so I left with only the clothes on my back."
