Clip ref XAB9 00:46:34 David Hockney wearing ZOOM glasses looks to camera, sat in a rocking chair says 'what I do find is very sexy is the new fourpenny stamp with the footballers kicking their legs up', nodding and rocking at the same time. Hockney takes off the glasses says 'pardon?', gets up and his microphone falls off. Hockney interviewed in his flat, talks about how you wouldn't care about the country collapsing if you met your one true love on the same day. Hockney says 'I can't plan a working day really, but in California I used to work in a morning and then I'd lie on the beach and then I'd work on the evening til 10 o'clock or 11 o'clock, and then I went for a drink', creative working practices. Hockney talks about how much he hates late night clubs in london with expensive drinks says 'In fact the chairs are so small it's like an organised children's tea party'. Hockney says 'I think of London now in the same way I used to think of Bradford', London compared to America, says America is more democratic and the nightlife is better. Hockney tells story about Eric Burdon being horrified by a cop in New York hanging up his gun and dancing in a bar.
