Amit Shah Launches Bharat Taxi in India's First Driver-Owned Cooperative Cab Service |#DeafTalksNews

Hello and Welcome to Deaf Talks News! We all use cab rides if we want to travel. Companies like UBER, OLA and Rapido build apps and get commission for every ride. All drivers are complaining that companies are taking money and paying them very less. Therefore Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched Bharat Taxi. This is India's first pre-booking taxi service owned by drivers. How is this different from regular taxi apps? In this taxi drivers are not temporary workers but establish them as partners and shareholders. Example private companies that take 20 to 30 percent commission, in Bharat Taxi drivers get 100 percent commission. Example if you earn 500 rupees from a ride you keep all 500 rupees. What did Amit Shah say about this launch? Amit Shah said this is a very important day for India's transportation sector. As India has developed the need for taxi services has reached every home. He also explained the problem this solves. Now both drivers and the public approached me with confidence to solve their issues. Initially the thought was that the government should create a new law. But just a law alone cannot give 100 percent solution to any problem. Bharat Taxi directly solves this problem by removing the middleman's large profit cut. This service has started in 14 major cities across Gujarat. If successful this cooperative taxi model could expand to other states across India in the future.
