Ashokan Farewell by Jay Ungar (played on acoustic guitar by Alex Farran)
My take on the beautiful "Ashokan Farewell by Jay Ungar. This piece was written for the incredible multi-volume Ken Burns documentary on the American Civil War. Played on my Martin HD28v (one of the Westside Distribution exclusives from a few years back). Both my rhythm track and lead track were recording with an Aston Spirit microphone. Other gear used for this video; Universal Audio Apollo Twin X UAD and Waves plug-ins Logic Pro Final Cut Pro D’addario 80/20 bronze 12 gauge Bluechip pick Thanks for watching, Alex Instagram: / alexfarranguitar Buy me a coffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/alexfarran #ashokanfarewell #jayungar #appalachian #bluegrass #countrymusic #folk #acousticguitar #martinguitar #martinhd28v #civilwar
