Canon EF-M 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens review with samples

Here's the standard kit lens that is commonly packaged with Canon's EOS M mirrorless cameras (as such, it will not work on a digital SLR) (well, not without an enormous amount of hacking). Is it any good, especially on the strenuous 24mp sensor of a Canon EOS M3? I will be review more of Canon's mirrorless EOS M lenses in the near future, as well as Fuji lenses.
