Franklin Leonard is a film and television producer, entrepreneur, and cultural commentator. He's best known for founding The Black List, an annual survey of Hollywood's most popular unproduced screenplays. Since its inception in 2005, over 440 Black List scripts have been produced as films, earning 54 Oscars and grossing $30 billion globally. Leonard has also worked in development at Universal Pictures and production companies owned by Leonardo DiCaprio and Will Smith.
