01 - Visualize Roots of Equations - Linear, Quadratic, Cubic, Quartic Solutions

We will discuss the linear equations, quadratic equations, cubic equations, quartic equations, and more. For each equation, we will examine an interactive computer plot and investigate how many crossings the graph makes with the x-axis. We will be able to predict from the plot how many real roots the graph has and how many complex roots it has. This is useful because we will be studying how to solve quadratic equations in great detail and we will in many cases obtain for the solution real roots and complex roots.
