Morning drive to Amelia's Ward, Linden Guyana 🇬🇾

Amelia Ward is a growing town, got lost in the drive, when up the same street twice, but saw amazing homes and beautiful constructions. Sixty-five miles south from the capital city lies one of the larger housing schemes in Guyana: Amelia’s Ward, Linden. The Linden-Soesdyke Highway runs through this community dividing it into two main sections: South and Central Amelia’s Wards with a population of 10,000 residents.Amelia’s Ward, perhaps the largest ward, is reputed to have derived the name Amelia from the daughter of the then owner of the land. Within Amelia’s Ward are Cinderella City, Reliance, Brezina and Hopetown Square (in Reliance).
