Dr. Jack Horner-Using the Tools of Evolution to Recreate Dinosaurs
Widely regarded as one of the most brilliant theoretical physicists of modern times, bestselling author, professor and scientist Stephen Hawking joined world renowned palaeontologist Dr. Jack Horner of Jurassic Park fame and award-winning biologist, Dr. Leroy Hood for a memorable event June 16, 2012. It was part of the inaugural Seattle Science Festival. Their presentations were interwoven with hip hop and modern dance at Seattle's Paramount Theatre, an event that integrated presentations by luminaries of the science world with interpretations of evolution from the art world. In this segment, famed dinosaur hunter Dr. Jack Horner gives a presentation titled "Using the Tools of Evolution to Recreate Dinosaurs." Dr. Horner served as technical advisor on all of the Jurassic Park films and was partial inspiration for the character portrayed by Sam Neill, Dr. Alan Grant.
