The Beni dance
In 1945, Malawian survivors of the British campaign in Burma returned to Mangochi district and told their story to local villagers about British army life through a satirical dance. The Beni dance is now a traditional Malawian dance, and is recorded here in a Lilongwe market in October 2013.
