This time, we'll be traveling by train, bus, and on foot through five areas: Yokosuka City/Ashina; Hiratsuka City/Yokouchi; Fujisawa City/Shonan Life Town; Ayase City; and Sagamihara City/Asamizodai. What are cities without rail like? 1. Yokosuka City/Ashina (Sagami Bay side): Route 134 and buses are a lifeline. 2. Hiratsuka City/Yokouchi: Platform 5 at the north exit of Hiratsuka Station* Concentrated service makes it surprisingly easy to get back. 3. Fujisawa City/Shonan Life Town (inland NT): The articulated express bus, Tsuji 23, serves as a "station-front alternative." 4. Ayase City (no stations): Even without rail, high-frequency buses and smart interchanges ensure speed within the metropolitan area. ⑤ Asamizodai, Sagamihara City: A valley surrounded by stations. The Dai59 line and Kitasato University Hospital hub provide area-wide access.
