What a Godly Woman Looks Like (06.28.2026 PM)

What is a description of a Godly woman? Cody Smith, speaking at the Walton Chapel church of Christ in Lafayette TN, answers that question from Proverbs 31:10-31and a few New Testament examples. He focuses on what women can and should do, rather than what they can’t. Family is at the center of a godly woman’s life – God first, then her husband, then the children. Her children will call her “Blessed” and her husband will praise her. A woman can be in business like the woman in Proverbs 31 and Lydia; she can teach children as well as others like Priscilla, and she can be a servant of the church like Phoebe.
